travel world architecture

Capturing the essence of a three-dimensional structure is not easy. Usually, one photo can not do justice to any single piece of architecture.

This section is a collection of both what I consider "good" photography and what I consider "record" photography.
Some simply represent an attempt to record my visit to an architectural site rather than create great photography... others, I think, are quite technically and artistically good.

I learned something from visiting each one of these projects... some were exceptional architecture... others taught me that fame does not always mean quality.

The ratings shown on these projects are an expression of my own personal tastes and evaluations.
Was the project groundbreaking? Were the spaces inspirational? Was there order and consistently in the design?
How well were the details handled? How was art integrated into the structure? How was the overall experience?
